Your BMI

Body Mass Index (BMI) is a measure of body fat based on height and weight that applies to both adult men and women. It is calculated by dividing an individual’s weight in kilograms by the square of their height in meters. A BMI score between 18.5 – 24.9 indicates a healthy weight, while anything below 18.5 is considered underweight, and anything above 24.9 is considered overweight or obese.

BMI can be a helpful tool for determining overall health, but it should not be the only indicator used in making decisions about an individual’s well-being; other factors include age, muscle mass, and body fat percentage.
